The pic is self explanatory. As most of you remember from the Sixgunner, I'm a groundhog/deer killing machine. 15,700+ groundhogs, now this.

I have a lot of summer crop damage deer permits for corn & soybeans. I love the beans because they never get high enough to hide the deer.

Most of my fields are surrounded by ugly brush/weeds/stickers. I don't want the deer to run in to these. Too old to chase them anyway. I use only my "big guns"- .375/.284, .325 WSM, .338 JDJ Mag, 6.5/.284( for really long shots)

I clean all these deer (7 1/2- 8 minutes), put the meat in a backpack & carry it back to my Explorer. It's given to the eldery, poor, previos patients. None is wasted. That's a lot of work for this old body, but I love every minute of it (except the 90-95* temps this summer).

This deer came out of the woods on the left. I was way right hide in the woods with my BogPod/PSR, .SSK .375/.284 XP. She was 348 yards. I held the bottom Plex of the Burris 3-12 Burris BPLex scope high on the shoulder. See the results? (this gun is super accurate-thanks JD). The 260 AB did a number on the spine/shoulder bones. Only a little meat was wasted.

I feel very fortunate at my age to accomplish this and to still be able to be as active as I am. I think it "keeps me young"!!
