First handgun in the woods this year
If all goes well I will have my first short barreled outing of the year. Muzzleloader is open and I will have the Kahnke in the woods. Loaded with a much more polite load than normal it will duplicate 44 magnum power thanks to some MMP .54 to .44 Sabots. Muzzleloader is one of the few times I will carry a rifle since I haven't set up a scoped muzzle loading handgun yet. The Kahnke is shooting 240 grain XTPs right at 1500 fps from the 14" barrel. I have several huge bucks in the neighborhood so maybe one of them will get stupid.
