Handgun Hunting Discussion

I’m sure everyone is just as pumped as I am, with the seasons right around the corner. What’s on your agenda in the coming months for handgun hunting? I’m really interested to hear from you guys and gals who are new to the sport also! If this is a new venture for you, tell us a little about yourself and what your plans are this season.

For me, I’m headed to Wyoming in October with a cow elk tag. I’m going with my buddy and fellow hand gunner Andy Nichols. I’ll be using my Freedom Arms 454 on this hunt.

After that, I’ll spend the entire Texas season at my lease chasing deer, hogs, and turkey. For that I’ll be rotating between my FA 454, FA 41 magnum, and a Smith 629/.44 magnum.
