"Alternative methods" season

I know Chris has said he worked with his state agency on handgun hunting and I'd like to do the same in Arkansas. We have the ability to hunt during modern gun but not during muzzle-loading season. I found Missouri's regulation clarifying "handguns" and adoption of an alternative methods season that replaced their muzzle-loading-only season. The MDC chief that headed the change happens to be a friend of mine who I'll reach out to for more clarification as well as some buddies with Louisiana Game and Fish.
Heath and Brian, what are your thoughts?

Jason, Your MDC friend who headed Missouri's Alternative Method Season may be a wealthy of knowledge. He probably can share how he convinced the powers to change Missouri's season to allow handguns. Best of luck in your endeavor!
