First try for pigs this winter
Nothing exciting to report but thought I would check in.
I have access to about 1400 acres once the deer season is over. The deer hunters have elected to not bait during the season to help keep pigs away so the pigs are not coming to the feeders.
I drove 1 1/2 hours to the land only to discover I had left my duffle bag with my clothes, meds, shaving kit everything, at home by the front door. I was planning on an evening and morning hunt but not spending the night now.
I got two feeders up and running. Trail cam on one and sell cam on the other. My buddy has a tripod feeder with cell cam on a planted power line. It has had corn in it for a week or two and a group of about seven pigs have been hitting it every day.
I slid down there around 3 pm, sitting on a lawn chair tucked back in the woods with my Sig Xten 10mm, first time out with this gun.
I sat for an hour after dark, it was getting pretty chilly and my warm clothes were at home in my bag.
I enjoyed being out but the pigs have disappeared. I don't know what is up, may take them a fe weeks to find the feeders again.
I will watch the cams for activity and get out there again.

Oh, I HATE it when I forget something!
I'm sure your 10mm will draw blood soon. Keep at 'em!
