Texas Elk
I recently saw a post about Texas elk with a handgun.
It wasn't a new post but someone on another forum had replied and it pulled up. I did some looking and they aren't even considered a game animal in Texas but an exotic even though there are still wild elk in a few parts of the state.
Some of the hunts look very doable and especially with my time which is very limited. There isn't a season. It's just like hunting exotics in Texas except free range on private property. Have any of you fine gentleman elk hunted Texas?

Texas exotics have always intrigued me and this just adds fuel to the fire. The one time I turkey hunted the Hill Country we didn't see any exotics (but did kill several turkeys). One day!
