My old shooting bench bit the dust back in the fall. The old locust posts held up for about 30 years. I got some 1/2" wall pipe two 8" in the front and a 6" in the rear. Dug the holes out big enough to put a cap block in the bottom and then poured 2 bags of Quikrete in each hole. I'm confident this will last me the rest of my life and probably somebody else's.
