Due to scarcity of .327 brass and loaded ammo I have been using .32 h & r and longs loaded with 125 gr. ak/sks bullets to .327 o.a.l.

I always thought derringers were neat little pocket guns, Dad had a HighStandard 22mag for snakes and such at the ranch. I picked one up in 22LR back in the 80's, could hit 55gal barrels out to 75-80 yards, despite the long heavy trigger. A buddy had a quality made 45acp derringer back in the late 80's and tried shooting a feral hog in a trap, distance 3-6 feet. Fired twice missed both times, that made me appreciate the little High Standard low recoil gun. Also, made me eliminate the desire for a large bore derringer.
