Powder batch differences?
Finished up a pound of Alliant 2400 and switched to a new bottle. I was surprised this morning during my 500 JRH ladder test when the velocities were consistently slower than the week before.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I was getting about 1200 fps with a 350 WFN at 22 grains of 2400 with the old batch, and wasn't hitting 1200 until about 24 grains today. This is with consistent seating depth and same primer/case/bullet. Chrono is the new Garmin Doppler which seems to track my other loads and guns VERY precisely.

Thanks for the comments on the Garmin. My chrono is a Pact PC that is probably 20+ years old, and although it still works, it doesn't get used as much as I would like due to being a bit of a pain to set up and take down. Something that can just be tossed in my range bag and then just sits on the shooting bench would be nice.
