Ruger Redhawk Badger or hogue grips
Hi All,
I was planning on closing a deal on a Ruger redhawk 5.5 inch in 44 mag that I've wanted to grab up.
Years ago, I had a 4.2 inch, and it had the rubber bantam grips on it which worked but I hated the look. Then I saw Badger makes a wood grip for the Redhawk that looks a lot better.
My question is, does the Badger grip have approx. the same dimensions as the rubber bantam or maybe slightly smaller due to being made of wood? They look like open back-strap but its hard to tell. If anyone that has that configuration that could chime in that would help a lot.
Thanks
Dave
Also, as a secont option I was looking at the hogue wood grips;

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the same thing as an after thought. Hogue does make the smooth gripped wood ones. Maybe that would be an option then i could always sand more if needed. I just know there are so many horror stories with that redhawk grip
