Ammunition Choices.....
After listening to ryan's first two podcasts and reading this.....

I have to ask the panel their opinions/advice on current factory ammo choices for common self-loading pistols. I have personally slain small deer with both parabellum speer lawman 124 gr. golddots and magtech 90 gr. jsps.
When I try to proselytize potential handgun hunters and suggest they start with what they daily carry, they all ask if a parabellum or .40 will kill a deer and what ammo to use. I cite my own experiences with the parabellums and remind them that the .40 is quite similar ballistically to the proven .38 w.c.f. but I have the same questions re. current products.
There are also these non-expanding designs that resemble phillips screwdriver bits in both copper and polymer construction.
Your thoughts and advices.....
I'm against any 9mm for whitetail sized game and more so with a CC type weapon. It's a borderline combination.
