Reloading

Well, after a bunch of nagging health issues, some related to my MS, some to another situation I did not know I had, my neurologist, primary, and oral surgon poked, prodded, yanked, and generally molded me back into fairly reasonable condition again! I am thankful, and am really feeling pretty decent for the first time since last November! Good enough to get back into the shop a bit and mess around with some guns and dies.

A while back I posted about the Li'l Gizzy HP tool in standard version and the newer reloading kit we started making. Well, I just never really liked the way that RL kit was. It worked well enough, and the feedback from buyers was all favorable BUT, it felt 'clumsy", and I felt it was just oo many parts.. The intention was good, essentially provinging a standard tool and an RL tool in one unit, but it was just too busy. SO, we redesigned things a bit into a more conventional tool. Simpler, easier to use, and I think MORE accurate and repeatable. Plus it is cheaper which never hurts.

Makes a wide variety of flat point, hollow points, wadcutters, in about any combination you can dream up in any type of 22 LR ammo

Just for fun I took some WW 40gr Power point HP, and already reliable killer on .little critters, and slightly enlarged the HP opening and making each round very uniform one to the next and then went out and wreaked havoc on some of the gophers chewing up my lawn! Crawl offs were NOT an issue. I should have takens some shots of the carnage but was frankly having too much fun and didn't think about it! There will be more this weekend I am sure.
