Experience with Lehigh defense or Wilson Combat solids?
Has anyone used any of these bullets for hunting? I've got some extreme penetrators for the 44, but have not tried them yet and found that they both carry 475 diameter bullets in stock, thought I might try some in the 480?

I have a box of Lehigh Defense penetrator ammo for my 475, but only shot one to check POI.
Last year in Tennessee I videotaped a guy shooting a buffalo in 454 with the penetrators. The first four shots went straight through like FMJ's. The Buffalo finally fell over and took one to the back of the skull to finish him off.
I believe they are designed for maximum penetration for large dangerous game. JMO.
