I Was able to get some group therapy yesterday and although I was using a makeshift rest with bags over the dash of a Kawasaki Mule, I was able to get some decent accuracy with my loads.

Once I got my 50 yard impacts where I wanted, roughly 2” hi. I decided to check a Valmet 412 combination barrel I had at 100. While waiting for it to cool between pairings of shots. I decided to fire the 41mag at 100 and see where loads landed.

I was getting 2” accuracy at 50, which was ok with me. I decided to fill the cylinder with 2 rounds of each load and fire each and keep track each load and where it fell. A 210speer loaded with 22gr. H110 placed its shots in a 2” pairing on the 3” aiming spot, the 250pc LFN loaded with H110 placed its shot right next to the 210speer, and a 270pc LFN placed its bullets 3.5” high, but in a 2” pairing as well.

I expected the 270’s to land high as they were about 3” high at 50, but the proximity of all three loads to land that tight at 100 surprised me. The accuracy at 100 surprised me as well, considering it equaled the 50 yard accuracy.
