460 Rowland getting Ferminized
The .460 Rowland Blackhawk is finally getting its front sight. Going with Fermin's mirror sight. I held up till I was sure I had the height figured out. Since I also use a 45 Colt cylinder in this gun I wanted the impossible. I wanted to be able to use both cartridges with very different loads. I got lucky. The 460 Rowland 240XTP load and the 360gr 45 Colt load land in the same place. Talk about an odd couple.

Great cartridge. I am also a firm believer in backing off just a bit. Many of the same bullets and powders are listed in load day between a 45 Super and 460 Rowland. I have found that loading halfway in between the two accomplishes about anything you need done and has to be less stressful to the guns.
