Blackhawk .41 Mag cylinder on its way
After measuring the throats on my .41 Mag cylinder and realizing they are badly undersize at .409, it became clear why the revolver is shooting so poorly with jacketed and cast. Why I did not do this the moment I had my mitts on this sixgun, I don't know, but it may be because the problem has been described so often in Ruger .45 Colts that I didn't consider it in a .41. Anyway, it is off to Henderson, NC and the capable hands of Doug Phillips and his Sunnen honing machine. I look forward to its return -- and working up a load with the Accurate 41-240V cast bullet.

Awesome Bill, let us know how it shoots. That’s definitely a cylinder full.
