Bringing an old friend out of retirement
I used a 441T .44 Special to kill a near uncountable amount of deer. When I was thinning does I could shoot 3 a day. The gun was scoped at the time with a 4X Redfield pistol scope. I pulled the scope off and used this gun for a hog chaser. It works great for that as well. I have so many handguns now that I have neglected the gun for years. I have carried it a time or two but haven't shot anything with it. A few days ago I was thinking about the gun and I realized that it is a crime to neglect the gun that I have probably killed more deer with than the rest of them. My Blackhawk 45 might be close but no way to know. I have decided to put a scope back on the gun. This time I am going to modify the mount to make it stronger and use modern glass. If any gun deserves to be in the woods this one does.

I have to fine tune the sight in but it shot 1.5" at 100 yards. Business as usual. Can't wait to get it in the woods again.
