Success In The Field

This Sunday afternoon I snuck in one more sit in the deer stand for the holiday weekend. It's about the right time of the year to catch old bucks doing dumb things. I had not previously seen this buck, but one glance with the binoculars, and I knew he was a buck to never pass up.

It was a hurried 122 yard shot with my MOA in .250 Savage. The 100 grain Ballistic Tip was more than his heart could take💥 A short but copious blood trail led to a quick recovery.
