Turkey with my 30-30 AI

Opening day of deer season and the morning temperature is in the 70's, and there is drizzle and light rain to boot. It hasn't rained in over 50 days and it decides that today is the day to break the cycle. There were 5 doe and 1 buck that came to the feeder shortly after it went off, and they hung around for about 30 minutes or so, then a group of 13 turkeys showed up. Well everybody knows that 13 is an unlucky number but apparently the turkeys didn't, so I helped them with their problem by removing one. It was an 88 yard shot with my not yet blooded 12 inch 30-30AI. Classic broadside "wingbutt"(?) shot that didn't damage the breast at all.
