Success In The Field

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, hunting in the morning and eating the rest of the week. I was not disappointed this morning with a extended game of predator and prey that had this nervous big doe take forever to come in to feed and allow me a reasonable shot with my .327 Single Seven. For nearly an hour she started, stopped, head checked, attempted to wind me, came , left, returned again before giving me a shot flirting with 50 yards.

The 100 grain Gold Dot did its work( which is quite a bit more than we would imagine), and I collected this big smart girl.
