Been trying or two days to post a really nice 41 for sale under this new format and it just keeps saying unable to post at this time probem on our end try again in a few minutes. Starting to suspect it might not like the file size with multiple pictures so I am trying just one paragraph to see if it will accept that
This is what I was trying to post and it wont let me.
A SPECIAL RUGER 41 mag -FS
A year ago I would have told you I would probably hold onto this one for life! In fact many of you have probably seen this in pictures with some of it's various victims around here. BUT sometimes things change and they have for me. Many of you know I have had trouble the past year with my MS, and after a bunch of testing and hand wringing they have decided I am no longer in remission. I am active. And the newest lesions have caused me some weakness issues in my hands and forearms and most troubling some issues with my vision. ( And these things don't grow back) Combine this with new meds and treatments and the rather nasty side effects, I have been doing very llittle work, and realistically my short barreled iron sighted hand guns days are over, so I am gonna move along a few neat items to make ends meet, and to make sure they end up in a good home that will use them as intended!
Pity party over, lets have some details:
This is a Large Frame FLAT TOP Ruger Blackhawk 4-5/8". I have been led to understand these are not the most common of critters!:

It wears a nifty set of grips that were fitted by Chad at Chigs out of some Birdsey. They look really nice first hand and fit the hand really well
I fit a Bisley Hammer, Vaquero trigger, and a #5 base pin
Trigger pull, lock up, timing are wonderful
I also added one of Fermin and Ronnies Rear sight thingies that REALLY makes for a nice sight picture at least to my eyes
The front sight is Dick Thompsons cure for aging eyes and will wipe off if you don't like it!
As for the business part:
I have seen these models go for obscene prices in the last couple years. I ain't got the stomach to ask that sort of thing! I would like 1200.00 Shipped to your FFL
I do have the box and goodies that came with it, AND I have the original hammer, trigger, and base pin too.
Now some propaganda:
If you have the eye and the finger for it this critter SHOOTS. With the ubiquitous 230 Keith Bullet it is a 1" gun at 25 yds at 800 1200 and 1400 fos with several Different powders. With the MP molds 41-265 using the large Hollow point pin you get a 240 gr HP that will go 1400 with AA 11 FS and will put 3 in and inch at 50 and 6 into 1-1/2 at same range with my eyes. If I am real mad at something the 265 gr solid version of this bullet will go 1300 plus and equal accuracy.
The above 240 gr HP will make deer, bear, and hogs VERY dead. And i have been fortunate to take all in the past few years with this pistola - I hope to see someone keep its streak going. It is so far a one shot one kill machine it has not missed and has not required a follow up yet (10 deer, 1 bear, 5 hogs if anyone keeps score)
I hate to see it go but life throws you curves and ya just gotta take em! THanks
