I did not grow up in a hunting family. When I retired from my career in Law Enforcement, my wife and I moved to Montana where we both learned to hunt with a rifle and a bow. This winter we moved to Ohio which requires the use of a straight wall cartridge for gun season. As such I have decided to ditch the rifle and hunt with a handgun.

After listening to several of Ryan's podcasts I decided to take the plunge and join this community. I am looking forward to learning from the members here and maybe even finding an Ohio hunting mentor.
