Scope recomendation for 14" 45-70 Contender barrel?
I have a 14: SSK Contender barrel on the way & looking for scope recomendations. Will be used primarily for moose & bear hunting here in Alaska. I understand the range limits on the barrel, but trying to decide if I should go with something like a 2-7x Burris, or a fixed 2x or 4x. Suggestions?
Not to turn this into a want ad but if anybody has a good used scope or 45-70 brass they want to part with feel free to message me.

Well after playing with my 480 SRH with its 2x Burris & the 4x Leupold M8-4x on my 22mag Contender I do believe I will look for another 2x Burris. Just REALLY like that scope! Heck may even look for a Burris 2-7x somebody wants to trade for my M8-4x and stick that on my 22 mag or 6.5 JDJ!
