Along the lines of Mr. Autry’s “pseudo hunter”, here is my JRH Maximum Hunter. I finally got everything finished on it, it just got back from getting a matte Black Nitride finish. Before sending it off I had Dall sheep grips fit to the frame and removed a tenth to an eighth inch of grip off the front to give fingers a bit more room and avoid the knuckle smack I was getting from the trigger guard. The mount was silver and I Brownells AlumaHyde blacked it out, to match the rest of the gun. It shoots 250-270 grain bullets at 1500fps, it has been converted to 414SM. It will replace my 357max as my main hunting handgun, and it finished out just in time for hunting season.
