Handgun Hunting Discussion

I bought one of these rests after seeing the add in Sixgunner. I have done a lot of blind hunting n the last couple of years do to some nagging health issues. After using it to kill some deer I like it a lot. I can see where it wouldn't fit well into run and gun hunting but from setting still it is the cat's meow. I got an email from them about the new rest that is coming out with some improvements on it. I can tell you that Brian , the builder is on his toes. So far I have had everything from a bull barreled encore to a Glock on it and it offers enough adjustment to make them steady regardless. It has been a learning curve but after I figured out the best way to do it is to compromise I can use the trigger stick tripod to make quick on the fly adjustments and still use the fluid head to tilt it and rotate. Here it is with one of the coolest guns to ever set on one of the rests. #23 Linebaugh Seville "Big 45". A sibling to Ross Seyfrieds infamous buffalo gun.
