Should I sell my Encore collection?
So I am contemplating selling my Encore Frames and all the barrels. Let me tell you why? I hunt mostly heavy cover and my shots are rarely over 100 yards. In most cases way less. I think the platform is very accurate and great for long distance shooting and hunting from a solid rest. But they are pretty darn big and not easy to carry yes even with a PP bandolear holster. I prefer semi-auto and revolvers for most my hunting. Packable and powerful. If I sold all my break action guns and barrels that would allow me to add a couple of nice single action handguns in calibers that would cover my needs.
Or are these getting collectable enough to hold onto?
I have three Encore frames and a bunch of barrels including some recent projects.
They run gamut from small bore to large bore.
I am absolutely torn as the other issue is I have allot of handguns and need to slim the herd if you will. My kids are ll setup with guns from my collection and if I don't use them or shoot them I think I should move them….
