Encore 460
Has anyone tried any heavier lead or hollow point bullets in a Encore 460 s&w, or any 460. What was the outcome. I tried the ftx from Hornady and for the recoil and performance on a deer I was less the. Impressed. If you hunt with a 460 what are the details? (Gun,ammo,etc.) Thanks.

When the .460 came out, I asked my good friend, JD Jones (heard of him?) if I needed one. He said absolutely not. He saw the only purpose in it was to shoot very heavy bullets on very big game. Since .454s have killed elephants & I took a rhino with a .475L, I shoot 250-320 stuff in my .454 & have been happy with it.
