Tree saddle tactics
Met up with some buddies that saddle hunt, tried it out and it's nice. Ordered 2, one for the boy and me.
Comfortable, light weight and fast to set up.
Obviously you can rest some on the bridge/tether and tree. What other tactics are people using that handgun hunt with a tree saddle?

I looked really hard at the saddles last year but opted not to buy one; cost and comfort were a concern. A good saddle will run as much as a good, comfortable climbing stand and I'm a big guy. The other big guys I talked to about them said they couldn't sit for more than 2-3 hours in one. I like to sit a long time. Four hours is a short sit for me.
So, I stayed with my turkey seat and brush in with fresh cut limbs or deadfalls.
