Chair Blind maiden trip
Georgia Muzzleloader week. At my usual hunting area, my friend's farm.
CVA. 50 cal pistol. Sitting at the swamp where hardwood Ridge runs into swamp. Been dry here, no water or mosquitoes. 40 degrees and breezy.
First time using chair blind. Pretty comfortable for maybe 4 hours. Can't really stand and stretch but pretty comfy.
I set it up a week ago to let the deer get used to it.
Had a small doe at about 20 yards. Never looked at me but was nervous. Saw a big doe about 70 yards. Too far for me.
I found out the blind is too narrow to spread my shooting sticks to the height I need. If I shoot it will be unsupported.

Thanks for the ideas.
I do have the primos monopod. It works pretty good especially out of a tree stand.
I built my sticks for kneeling and sitting but also long enough to be a walking stick. They work well in a normal ground blind but this chair blind is small and wouldn't let me spread the legs enough.
I would like to try a short tripod, some are pretty pricey.
