Handgun Hunting Competition 2026
Anyone going to HHC this coming year? I plan to sign up for my first one once it opens up. Do I have to mail in the paper to sign up or is there a way to do it online? For a first timer, any other tips?

I have always mailed it in. Not sure if they are doing it online this year or not. Best advice is can give is to practice from field positions and know your hold overs. Each stage will have 6-8 targets at various distances and various natural and man made features to use as rests. Most of the stages are set up so that all the targets can not be shot from one spot, so you have to move and re establish a shooting position on the clock. In the past we have shot off rocks, logs, fences, farm equipment and prone of the ground, so a small bag is a must. What divisions are you planning on shooting?
