Hearing protection question
Just a general question, what is everyones opinion on hearing protection? I normally use the Howard Leight ear bands but was thinking about some of the electronic setups. I see quite a few ad‘s on FB and instagram for the Axil ear buds but I’m not sure just how good they are.

I use both Axil and Howard Leight. I use the Axil daily at work and when shooting matches/range fun. I know it's frowned upon but I like to listening to music while I shoot (don't tell anyone). My only negative about the the Axil is the directional hearing since there is only one microphone. If you have the sound amplification up, then you can at least pick the sound up and become aware. With the rubber fittings, you it's not a solid seal so you can get a sense of the direction and it's decent hearing protection. Another good thing, if you have the bluetooth on, and you forget to turn your phone on silent (who would do that?? oh yeah, me), then it'll automatically go on silent and feed into your ear buds. Howard Leight is great too, just gets in the way sometimes and it's more weight.
I like it for pig hunting at night too. I have 2 NV helmets but only one has built in Howard Leight muffs so having these is good for when whispering with the other hunter.
Now I want to put an IR laser on an AutoMag for pigs....
