SW 25-15 Classic .45 Colt
This is a little bit of a rant so forgive me. I saved up and bought subject new revolver since i am a 45 guy. I hunt with SBHH Bisley in .45 but wanted a nice 45 DA to carry. Got it in and went to the range, BUT my handloads would not chamber so grabbed a box of factory and the would not chamber either. Turns out the extractor was undersized and i think it was made for model 29 44 mag, assume wrong part box grabbed for build, oh well back to SW. Customer service was very easy to work with so was happy enough, got back fairly quickly, again happy, then......
went to range and impact was waaay to the right, and appeared to be keyholeing some. I guess i was so distracted by extractor plus couldn’t shoot it i missed the barrel cylinder issue. As obvious from picture, barrel is over tightened so sight is way out of line and cylinder lock is also now offline with forcing cone. I assume keyholeing is due to bullet smearing, so glad i shot lead bullets. Sorry for the rant but this quality is not what i thought i saved and paid for........got another return request into SW QA, at least hope customer service stays easy. Still think i am gonna love it once it is right

Put a hogue big butt grip and the Smith is doing well, I am working up loads to the mid level with goal of close range hunting capability
