6.5 JDJ sizing problem
I'm new to this site and reloading the 6.5 JDJ.
I loaded some Winchester brass without issue. The problem is loading the quality cartridge brass from Grafs. The brass is thinner and will NOT hold bullets. Any idea on how to increase neck tension with the thinner brass. I annealed the cases and sized all the cases for fireforming without issue. Once I fireformed the brass it will not hold a bullet firmly. I measured the OD and ID of both brand cases and that told me the problem cases are thinner.

I've had really bad problems with Quality Cart. brass. Bought some in .416 Taylor. Everything split in the case mouth. Sent them back. The owner said the problem was SSK!!! They didn't know how to ream barrels for a good fit!!! Sent some more & they split in the case body!!
All my .416 brass is now resized .458 Win. brass. No problems.
I'd recommend waiting until you get .225 brass & save $$.
