New bullet and new load
A nice little box postmarked Utah arrived on my porch a few days ago and in it was another of Tom from Accurate's molds -- this one the 41-240V. Out of my scrap alloy, it is dropping at 258 grains. I didn't go with a gas-checked design because I don't plan to push these much beyond 1,000 on a regular basis, and there is always the powder-coating alternative.
I have some loaded over 8.0 grains of Unique, which I hope will yield an accurate load that is pleasant to shoot, but ready to roll up its sleeves and go to work down range.
