Used a 7.5" Super Redhawk on my moose as well. 20 grs of 4227 with a 370 gr cast at an easy 1050 fps did the job at about 55 yds. Down & out in 40-50 yds. HS6 is a better powder, my dentist used that load with a little heavier cast bullet & my Alan Harton 480 to take his bull moose, like wise a one shot fast kill. The 480 is a real hammer but easy on the back end & a beast out the front end.
