HC bullets

I picked up the HHI 44 mag off GunBroker several months ago. I thought it would be fitting to reload some 310 HC for it from some HC bullets I had laying around from 20 years ago. I did and the first three shot into a tiny little group. Then it started flinging them. I looked harder at the bullets and saw that the greese was flaking off and had big gaps. I’m assuming it’s leading in the barrel bad causing this as jacketed bullets shoot fine.

I have never cast my own. Can I easily tumble these bullets and relube them or what’s the best plan? Any ideas?

Powder coating has worked well for me and is surprisingly easy to do.
