MP-41-265TS vs Whitetail (Some gooey pics)
I shot the little guy below a couple weeks back and just hadn't had time to post anything.

I took him early in the morning at 41 yards. It was still so dark when he came in to the old apple tree I was sitting by, that I had to watch him over the sights about 15 min before i could even begin to see the front sight enough to try a shot! I was sure he would wander off before the daylight and my old eyes got in sinc. Finally things came together and I lowered the hammer - He ran about 18 inches right straight down.
The gun in play is my beloved 41 Flat Top that has been tweaked a little here and there and has been wearing some nifty birdseye shoes from Chad at Chig's.

The load is the MP- 41 -265TS with the large HP. I am pushing them in the 1350 fps range, and this would be the 12th deer to fall to this wonderful bullet for me in the past few years. I make them from a 70/30 ww/pure lead blend, gas checked, powder coated. So far so good.
For those interested in the stuff that happens after the hit, this deer was left side on at a bit of angle and the innie looked about like this:

And the outie something like this

With the front shoulder removed you can get a little better idea of what the exits are like

With of course the all essential handy-dandy jack knife/deer disassembly device for scale
The Lungs were seriously pulped. The liver came out in one big piece and three or four rather gooey chunks.
All in all I have been really happy with this bullet in my 41's. on medium game. The HP version does a bang up job on light critters like deer.
