This evening my son killed his first deer

with a pistol. We got in a barn loft overlooking a pach of timber. We stacked some hay bales up to use for a rest. Right before dark this button buck came in to about 50 yards. He dropped it in its tracks. Shot it with a 357 magnum loaded with 158 gr hornady xtp and 2400. One memory I will never forget.
