Late doe
The '23-'24 Georgia deer season has been pretty unremarkable for me. It's unusual that it would be this late in the season before I fired a shot. The Shiny Ruger finally got to bark last night on this doe.
The 30ish yard shot was made challenging by the fading light of late afternoon, but the 240 grain Fusion found the lungs, and made tracking by flashlight easy enough.

Cingrats and good job persevering: we are having a terrible season also - no shots fired since bow season - so much for the long line up.....
