The 21st shot
A new to me FA 97 .41 Mag arrived at my ffl on Thursday and I mounted a Burris 2x scope on it that night. On Friday I stopped at the range on the way to deer camp and shot 20 times to get it zeroed, and then hurried to camp to hunt. On the 21st shot with the new gun, this hog dropped in his tracks from a high shoulder shot with a 210 XTP with complete penetration. That’s the quickest I’ve ever “blooded” a new gun.
