Feral Boar 400 gr Maker Rex
We just completed a hunt for a big Feral Boar in Pennsylvania, at The Wilderness Hunting Lodge. I used a 10" plus Super Arrestor Brake Encore Bull Barrel in 500 S&W. 400 gr Maker Rex at approximately 1,787 fps. I purposely ran the bullet through the center of the shoulder and shield. The Maker cut the heart in half and did considerable damage. The big feral boar was down and dead within seconds. 49 yard shot.
