A linear comp for the Creedmoor
Having had some fun a year or so ago with a CVA Scout 2 in 6.5 Grendel that now lives in DFW, I decided to try the same rig in 6.5 Creedmoor when I saw a recent batch come in. I have the Korea-made Weaver Classic 2-6x on this thing, and decided to try it with a linear compensator from Kaw Valley. Glad I did. It is amazing how much of the blast and noise of shooting a pretty potent cartridge from a short barrel gets directed away from the shooter. Made a bench session for sighting in the scope and preliminary load testing quite pleasant.
