I’ve been strictly a revolver guy up to this point but as of this afternoon I will soon be the owner of a new-to-me 15” 308 Encore pistol.

I’m excited about the prospect of shooting accurate cheap factory ammo as I have been wearing out my single stage press with 500 JRH and 454 Casull loads over the last few months.

How easy are these types of guns to master in terms of consistency? I’ve found that revolvers, while incredibly accurate, take ALOT of work on shooting form and load development to consistently shoot well.

My hope is that this little 308 will be a little bit easier to dial in.
