Finished mounting the Burris 2-7 Bplex this morning and bore sighted it. Lol literally looked down the bore and moved the cross hairs to where I thought it should be.

Load was 300 gr Hornady HP over 322

1st 2 shots at 50 yards were cutting each other and 2 inches to the right. I moved the point of impact to where I thought it should be and shot another. It was a couple inches high at 50. Moved to 100 yards and first 2 were roughly an inch apart and 3rd I pulled group was still less than 1.75

When I set up my 100 yard target I saw a golf ball and threw it up on the backstop beside my target.

After I fired the 3 shot group I realized that the impact was exactly at the point that the upper reticle narrowed to a point above the cross hair.

My 4th shot at 100yds made that golf ball disappear.

Recoil with the SSK HellCat brake is very manageable. I think much less than my 308 barrel pre brake.

I introduced my Dad to the world of large bore Encores. He center punched a pumpkin twice at 50 yards. I think that was only the second time he had shot a scoped handgun
