Rey, I've had one since JD made them. Absolute death on deer. Acted more like .338s. I did around 150 deer and 318 groundhogs with it. Used 150 & 165 BTs, Solid bases, and a few 165Xs loaded SEVERAL grains below 150 loads. JD never liked Xs in Contenders, but I cheated with several grains lower than they should be. Like Rob said performs about like a .308. I can't tell the difference. Deer hate both of them when I use them!
