Ruger Super Wrangler
I’d like to pick y’all’s brain on something. Last fall I bought a Ruger Super Wrangler. It a great little .22. It shoots as well as I can aim. I have found one flaw. In the 7 months I’ve owned it, I’ve broken two ejector rods. The first rod was the factory part that came on the gun and chalked it up to a flaw. The handle broke off of that one. Then I bought a beefy after market ejector rod to replace it(it was made for a Blackhawk). It broke this evening. The rod separated from the handle and got stuck in the cylinder. Any ideas of what may be causing these to break?
I think when I buy a new ejector rod, I’ll order two. That way I have a spare. Plus Murphy’s Law says that if I have two, I’ll only need one….

That is the rod that is supposed to be attached to the handle it’s leaning on…

If you need to hit the ejector rod hard enough to get the cases out, that it breaks the ejector rod handles, you might want to have Ruger polish the chambers, if you don’t feel comfortable doing it yourself.
