My 7.5" Bisley Hunter in 45 Colt is hands down my favorite gun I've ever owned, handgun/hunting gun/"fun gun" or otherwise. I love that it can go from gallery loads up to nuclear and back down with no issues, and I've done it all. Most recently I've settled on a 280gr flat point from Randy Barnett. I'm still fiddling with the velocity, but I enjoy them in the 1100-1200fps range. They're fairly soft shooting, certainly more manageable than the 335gr WFN bullets at the same velocity that I started hunting with haha
The 280's at my given speed I have no doubt would be a clean pass through anything I'm likely to come up against in Florida or Missouri.
