PC 460
Just put this S&W PC 460 on a 90 day layaway and sold my 8 3/8" standard 460 I bought when they first came out. Thanking God that at my age I can buy and shoot a hunting revolver capable of cleaning taking any game on the planet... I found my first 460 a very forgiving handgun to shoot and purchased every available factory load from the 200gr Hornady/Corbon up to and including Corbon`s 395gr cast bullet load. The worst that happened at the range that day was the side blast from the brake took the face plate off my chronograph. The velocities were equal to those listed (I have the numbers around someplace). Also interesting was shooting some 454 ammo that also had velocity`s equal to factory spec... My first 460 had a decided preference for heavier bullets with HSM 300gr jfp ammo hitting a 3" plate at 115 yards 5 out of 5 with four different shooters and one of them being a young lady that I would guess was around 100 pounds in weight.... Yes... A very forgiving... very fast.. big bore.... S&W did their homework on this one..... Whitetail was taken with 460..........

@David Ihrie I was able to check into what happened to your first reply, and I can only assume it was an accident. I posted an explanation here: Deleting Posts | Handgun Hunters Int. (handgunhuntersinternational.com)
