Good price for SRH in 454?
I've never really been interested in 454 but love SRHs & found this in a local shop.
Am i wrong or is this a pretty good deal? No box or rings.
Only concerning issue is the crane lockup seems a little loose. Definetly looser than my 480. When I press on the cylinder to force it as far as I can (when locked) i can force the edge of my thumbnail in the gap.
Looking at the carbon in the cylinders it's obvious he had been shooting 45 colt a lot

Thanks guys. Shes definetly no safe queen. Took my 480 SRH out today for a quick minute & was reminded how much I like it & why its my favorite hunting revolver. It just "fits & feels better than any other in the hand. Well my hand anyway.
Like I said I have never really been interested in the 454. I handle the recoil of the 480 ok but dont want much more. I like its push rather than a snap. I assume the 454 will be more recoil & a sharper slap due to the higher pressure?
Im still thinking...
