Shooting Bisley Hunters Saturday
Matt and I went to the 100 yard range. The 44 Bisley Hunter and 45 Bisley Hunter are on the money if we get the opportunity and don't connect with deer we can't blame it on the guns. These things shoot. These two groups were shot at 100 yards from a shooting bench. Both are 3 shot groups. One from Matt's 45 Bisley Hunter and one from my 44 Bisley Hunter. These groups are both well under 2" these guns just shoot. My 41 Bisley Hunter also shoots like this. I understand Ruger's quality isn't what it used to be but you don't have to look far to find Ruger guns that will shoot. Yes scope adjustments were made. Now we just need opening day.
I just corrected the caption on the 44. That was actually shot with the 300gr Oregon trail bullet. I had 240 XTP of the brain because I re-sighted the gun with them.

Sand bags and a Delta rest. Here is a .357 set up to shoot 100 from the rest.
